How does Split Save work?▾
Split Save splits one journey into two or more tickets you buy in a single transaction. You stay on the same train, but the ticket combination is cheaper than the single "through" ticket because of quirks in the UK fares system. It's fully legal under National Rail Conditions of Travel, provided the train calls at each split station.
Does TrainPal charge booking fees?▾
No. TrainPal charges no booking fees and no card fees on any transaction, and fares are identical to the official operator sites. That's one of the main ways it differs from some competitors.
Is TrainPal legitimate?▾
Yes. TrainPal is operated by Trip.com Group (Ctrip), one of the world's largest online travel companies, and is a licensed Retailer of Third Party Products under National Rail. Tickets are the same as those sold by train operator websites.

Yes. You can store up to five Railcards in your TrainPal account and apply them to eligible journeys for the standard 1/3 discount. Just make sure to carry the Railcard (digital or physical) when you travel for inspection.
