Yes, within the IPL suitability window. Ulike handsets use Intense Pulsed Light that targets the pigment in the hair follicle, reducing regrowth over repeated sessions. Results are best on dark hair with light-to-medium skin tones, typically after 8-12 weeks of weekly sessions, with maintenance after that. Very light (blonde, grey, red) hair or very dark skin are not suitable for IPL — check the suitability chart on the product page.

Most users describe Ulike sessions as comfortable rather than painful thanks to the sapphire-crystal ice-cooling plate built into the flash window, which keeps skin cool during flashes. Start at the lowest intensity level to build tolerance, then step up. Very sensitive areas (bikini, underarm) may feel warmer — the device includes multiple intensity levels to tune comfort.

Ulike flagship handsets are rated for hundreds of thousands of flashes — enough for many years of whole-body sessions before the lamp degrades. Devices are covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty against defects. Registering your device on ulike.com activates the warranty and unlocks product updates and tips.
