This offer is available to all customers who purchase and use a Family & Friends Railcard. The named Railcard holder must travel with at least one child on a child-rate ticket for the discount to apply. Excludes morning peak period services for journeys wholly within the London & South East Network Railcard area from Monday to Friday. A minimum fare of £19.60 applies to Anytime Day Travelcards. How much can I save with a Railcard?▾

1/3 off most adult rail fares in Great Britain. On off-peak and advance fares the discount is applied in full. On some peak fares a £12 minimum fare applies Monday-Friday. Most users cover the £30 annual cost within 2-3 return journeys.

Is there a digital Railcard?▾

Yes. Every Railcard is available as a digital card loaded to the free Railcard app on iOS and Android. It works offline and can be shown to staff or used when booking online.

Can I get a Railcard if I'm over 30?▾

Yes, via the Senior Railcard (60+), Two Together Railcard (two named adults), Family & Friends Railcard, Network Railcard (south-east only) or Disabled Persons Railcard. The 26-30 Railcard covers the narrow gap between 26 and 30.

Is the Railcard valid on the Underground?▾

Not on its own. However, you can load a Railcard discount onto an Oyster card for 1/3 off off-peak pay-as-you-go Tube, DLR and London Overground fares. Visit a ticket office to set this up.
